Who I am

Hidden Gumption is run by Samantha Umbdenstock EI (entrepreneur individuel, the French status for a one-person business), registered in France (SIRET 993 972 991 00018). Full details are on the legal notice page. These terms cover this website and the Goldilocks app.

Your licence

Refunds

I want you to be able to decide whether Goldilocks is right for you.

If you’re not happy with your purchase, email sam@hiddengumption.com within 14 days of purchase and request a full refund. You don’t need to give a reason.

Refunds are processed by Creem, the merchant of record, and returned to your original payment method.

If your purchase is refunded, your licence to use Goldilocks ends. Your personal entries remain yours, and you can keep the files you’ve created.

This voluntary refund policy does not affect any statutory consumer rights, including remedies for digital content or services that are faulty or not as described.

Your entries are yours

Everything you write in Goldilocks belongs to you and stays in places you choose. The privacy page explains how. Keeping your own backup of your Goldilocks folder is a good habit, as with any important files. It doesn’t change your legal rights if the app is at fault.

What Goldilocks is, and isn’t

Goldilocks is a tool for noticing the shape of your own days. It is not medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, and it doesn’t diagnose or treat anything. If you’re struggling, please talk to a professional you trust.

Responsibility

As far as the law allows, I’m not responsible for indirect losses from using the website or the app. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.

The law

These terms are governed by French law. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep the consumer protections of your own country.
